"New Media for the New Millennium"
Brainyflix is run by Nori Yoshida and Jack Yu -- two college buddies from MIT who graduated in '01. The mission of BrainyFlix.com is to make learning SAT vocab as free and fun as possible through the power of user-generated content.
Jack Yu has been heavily involved with community service activities at MIT both as an undergrad and alum. Before BrainyFlix, his interest in public service & technology sparked an interest in improving education via the web - specifically, teaching free SAT lessons online at YouTube. The two friends have always been interested in working together and felt like BrainyFlix could be a great public service project with potential as a viable social venture.
Brainyflix is currently conducting a Flashcard Contest ($200 Grand Prize) & Video Contest (Grand Prize of $600). For Rules and more information click here.
During the second half of the program we will be joined by Keith J. Davis Jr.
Keith is an extraordinary young man with a joyous spirit and an emerging presence. The son of Mr. D-MARS, he grew up surrounded by the business world and a father with a powerful presence as an innovator in the field of marketing. Raised in Houston, Texas, Keith J. Davis Jr. has swiftly become one of the most sought-after young speakers in the city.
The budding entrepreneur, speaker, author, actor, and model is the founder of the Keith J. Davis Jr. Foundation that empowers, educates and motivates youth and teens to become future leaders through thought-provoking seminars, writings, networking functions and more.
