She was awarded the prestigious Leeway Foundation grant to create: www.blacksurvivors.org, a national, online support group and online resource center for black sexual abuse survivors. She is also the author of "Creating a New Normal: Cleaning Up a Dysfunctional Life," a book that chronicles her own healing from sexual abuse. Coleman has been featured on Praise 103.9, 107.9 WRNB and "Wake Up Live" in Boston.
