I saw what Spike Lee said about Tyler Perry and I disagree. I am of two minds about his productions. I thought the Media movies had scenes that need not be included like the drug use. Is it depicting real life, yes it does but considering it is illegal and so many of our people are in prison on possession charges, we do not need Black movies promoting this behavior as if it is a joke.
I have never been a fan of the plays but I just don't like that format. However, I like House of Payne. I think it is a very real program and it deals with drug addiction appropriately and I think the television program is alright.
